3 Acute Care

 

This project was pivotal for me.  During the hairy days of Covid, Penn State Hershey Medical Center asked if I would be able to put together something that their 3 Acute Care staff could work on WITHOUT me in attendance.

I had never considered anything like that. The things I was able to adapt to in this fingerprint mosaic led to far more flexibility in many projects after it.   I did end up going in for a few days but the majority of the tiles were made in the staff’s little break room when they got some rare down time.  The fingerprint is not an actual print but rather a composite of a few features in multiple photos I referenced.  It was weird at first to see fabulous tiles and not have a face to connect them to because I wasn't around when they made them.
