Lower Dauphin High School

 

Pennsylvania Council on the Arts partnered with Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute to hire me to work with Lower Dauphin High School to make 6 mosaics. 

 

One stipulation was that I had to work in each school in the district.  That meant the high school, the middle school and 4 different grade schools. The mosaics would all hang in the PPI. 

 

Within the high school, there were three separate teachers, each with their own group of kids.  Each group did different parts of the 6-mosaic project.  One of the groups made triangle tiles in browns and oranges. 

 

A different group assembled the triangle tiles in this pineapple piece.  This photo shows some of the mosaickers.
